Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mmmm, avocados and mangos... Toss some crab on top and I'm a happy Cass.

Avocados are also delicious on taquitos.

And toast.

Damn, now I am hungry.

ita, you probably already know this but:

Sci Fi Channel's "Eureka" has struck ratings gold.

Two-hour Tuesday-night premiere was the highest-rated series telecast in the network's history, netting 4.1 million viewers.

"Eureka" topped the night on cable in overall viewers, adults 18-49 and 25-54. It posted a 1.3 national rating/4 share in 18-49 (1.7 million) and a 1.6/4 in 25-54 (1.9 million).

Premiere bested the debut of ABC's "The One" in total viewers and key demos and outscored the season opener of ESPN's "The Contender" and a new episode of FX's "Rescue Me" in overall viewership.

I eated avocado on toast and the avocado bit me back. Dropes... Why'd it have to be dropes?

Bless Benedryl.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Taquitos with avocado and a mojito! Yum. Mint + lime is so good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I dare not get too excited about Eureka, because I still smart from the Coupling fiasco.

But that's damned cool.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think I have a problem with my brain being missing....

I managed to lose an iPod. My 60 gig video one.

Well, it's probably in my appartment somewhere. (I was hoping it was still at work, or in my car, but no dice.)

In violent-neighborhood news, there's a place I lived at in Minneapolis for 2 1/2 years - we had three murders within a block during that time. All were people killing people they knew, but one was a driveby shooting kitty-corner from our house....

If your brain is missing, then how are you thinking? IJS.

ION, of the Great Mysteries of Live variety:

Why does string cheese taste so much better when you peel off strings to eat, as opposed to just biting off a chunk?

Bush's grope: "Blitz-Massage" or Vulcan nerve pinch? (With photos of Bush and the Chancelor, and of Spock giving a Vulcan nerve pinch.)

Germans may be obsessed with shaking hands, but it is a very brief shake. Even family members will shake hands with each other. Touching of this sort is for -very- close friends in private. At least this produced yet another cool German word: "Blitz-Massage."
