Another strange thing to do with your money.

Hey, 680 is only $192. What a bargain!

Any reason to think it won't go through?

The incredible slackness of the post office? Seriously, I'd be worried. I mean, if you get an on the ball worker who realizes that Ontario is in Canada, you might be okay.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Problem with Ontario is that it's also in California.

I have no idea how they perform mail sorting, but I'd imagine postal workers get familiar with all sorts of postal/zip/etc codes--moreso than us. Some strange illegible stuff gets to where the sender meant it to go.

Oddly, a postal worker told me that illegible is better than wrong. If, for example, you put the wrong zipcode on something, they are obligated to send it to that zip code, even though they know damn well that Beverly Hills is 90210, if you put 92010, it goes to Carlsbad. If there is no zip code, just Beverly Hills, CA, then they look it up and send it to the right place.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That sucks, Vortex.

So does the fact that it's only 3:30.

Now I'm sore tempted to leave out city and state from now on. I mean, my Zip's always legible, so the rest is redundant.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

My daughter is having a swim day at daycare. I am torn between wanting to stay in my office and get work done and wanting to skip over to daycare and watch the toddlers playing in the wading pool. I think for her sake I'll stay here a bit longer. She has plenty of chances to play with me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now I'm sore tempted to leave out city and state from now on. I mean, my Zip's always legible, so the rest is redundant.

I do wonder why we still put all the info -- I figured for backup, but not if they have to deliver to the zip even if it's wrong.

I am hungry for dinner but have little to no interest in any particular food. Bah.

I do that on return addresses sometimes.
