Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Thanks, Lee! I'm going to forward that to him. From a quick skim, he's getting good press, even when the show's not.

Yeah, I was kinda worried about that.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Is Eureka a two-hour pilot? Why did I think it was a half-hour show?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Yay! We no longer have to fear that Ralph Reed might be lieutenant governor. He just conceded in the primary. That's Christian Coalition Ralph Reed. His opponent was running an ad outlining Reed's role in Abranoff/Indian gaming scandal. Reed countered with an ad saying that he hadn't been charged with anything. Yet. The rest of his ads were about being true to conservative Christian values.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm recording the second showing of Eureka, so I can watch it tomorrow.

I missed getting the beginning of Broken Trail on AMC. Damn, Robert Duvall has still got it.

ION, I found the smell I was looking for this morning in the baby's room. The cat is a dead, dead kitty.

The cat is a dead, dead kitty.

Oh, man, it took me several reads to realize that it wasn't the cat that was the actual dead thing what smelled.

Fuzzy dead prey or a sign of disapproval?

So far, the likely suspects for my fucked up skin joins are eczema or yeast. Gross. But not grosser than my carpet (I took pictures. And am now imagining multiplying molds. I don't like mold.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ewww. Sarameg. Give them hell. Though this:

I'm having a drink. Got it mopped off the walls and wood floor.

Could have been phrased a little better.

YAY for good BB-AS, and for Eureka.

sign of disapproval

This. I've chased him out of the crib a couple of times. He's obviously showing me his displeasure. I'll have to get the carpet shampooer out in the morning. And we'll have to keep the door shut until he knows that's a no-kitty zone.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

sara, I almost can't believe your epic struggle with the a/c, it is just that astonishing. I hope you don't have mold to contend with as well.
