Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Try to keep him ahead of you. I think the turning around is the key issue in becoming salt.

Especially if he's a Gamorahite (sp?).

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hey, raises are happy things. Congrats!

I, um, should be grading. Really. I'm going to go grade right now.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It's just too hot in my office to think or work.

ETA: msbelle, or any other non-cable-having persons, I think NBC is running PR tonight.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Juliana!

Bleah, it's a freakin' sauna out there. At least home, the car and work all have AC.(though I wish work wouldn't set theirs on "meat locker")

hip deep in pie

I am on vacation until next Tuesday, yay! tomorrow, I am off to Ottawa and Montreal. I hear it's hot as stink, so I've packed a lot of light skirts and shirts. I've overpacked, really, in a carryon. It's quite an accomplishment.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Since my boss just left for the day, I was able to finally watch Corwood's Lil Sphere doing his "Surfin' Bird" dance.

I am officially ded now. I really should take my corpse home.

For Venture Brothers fans-- I'm reading up in Jackson Publick's livejournal and apparently Ben Edlund wrote an ep for this season and Brendan Small, Edlund and Dana Snyder will be guest voicing an episode (ETA: Small will be in more than one). Did anyone catch H Jon Benjamin last night, because he was such a treat.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Loved last night's Venture Brothers, especially the guest voice. Took me FOREVER to place it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh this is random: Saturday, many members of my family were in my uncle's little pool, including a nine year old cousin and his friend, who were playing. At some point, my other cousin's husband said, "We should have that time, what was it called? When all the kids had to get out of the pool?" My father was like, "Adult swim?" Cousin's husband and I looked at each other like, "OHHH! RIGHT."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Loved last night's Venture Brothers

Crap. What did I get a DVR for?
