The smaller you are, the more efficiently you cool, IIRC. Plus, as a kid, I never worried about being sweaty. I wouldn't now, but I do every now and again have to be presentable.

Back then, my dad couldn't justify to himself buying something that could only be used for video games (even though it's about 95% of what our C64 was used for.) Nowadays, well, he owns an XBox 360 while I'm holding off (albeit barely) until there's more games for it that I want to play.
