"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

amazingly I took a yoga class today and was not a sweaty mess. the teacher mostly had us do cooling poses.

msbelle, can you have your yoga teach call mine? Today she reset the AC to click on at 90 degrees. When it did, she turned it off completely. This was a 3 hour class.

After class I had a meltdown.

Oh, and hi all! sarameg, I've been missing you.

That just sounds wrong, Kat.

Cereal:

I am sadly disappointed with TJ's Thai chili lime shrimp. It's all heat, without much flavor.

I just chanced across Fabulous, a recent IFC documentary about queer cinema, and was thrilled to see an old internet acquaintance Marga Gomez featured prominently. Also, so cute to hear Heather Matarazzo squeeing about watching Bound when she was a kid. Unfortunately, she credited Jennifer Tilly's sister Meg with the role in that film.

Swouncing

Skipping and poking head to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is juliana's birthday. Happy birthday, juliana! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Oh, and belated wishes for Paul (PMM's DH), whose birthday was yesterday, too.

As for what's going on here - well, my sister and her boyfriend sat to take an exam yesterday, and two minutes into it were interrupted by an alarm and had to run to the shelters. So now all the universities and colleges in the north have closed their gates, no more exams or papers until further notice, and both my sister and her boyfriend are at his mother's, who lives quite near by here, and therefore safe. One less big worry to think about, which is good. Everybody else, though, is still up north, so, well, um - good thoughts are still very much appreciated.

Thanks, you guys, for all your concern and attention.

Nilly! I hope your sister and her boyfriend, and everyone else, are/continue to be okay and that the universities can reopen soon.

Happy day after Birthday to Paul.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JULIANA!!!
