I just saw a shooting star! Haven't seen one of those in ages.

Am stuffed to the gills with really good indian. In NM? Yup. Restaurant is a year old and comes here via Scotland. How they picked Las Cruces, I'll never know, but it was a good addition. I hope it makes it. It is rather classy for this area (steaming towels afterwards!) but heck, I don't know how they are filling the bajillions of miniMcMansions that are spreading like fungus over the west mesa. There really isn't an employer that obviously could support the people moving in there. The public schools are the largest employer and even two senior teacher salaries would be hard pressed to afford them. Maybe they are Floridian retirees fleeing hurricanes, I don't know.

Anyway, good trip. And, um, hi.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Hey, wait a minute! Wasn't Stringer the brains of that operation?

Where the tag typo?

"Drucilla" instead of Drusilla. I only spotted it by reading it twice after you asked.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi Sarameg! Yay for shooting stars.

I went to bed around 8:30 and woke up a little after 5. It was so nice!

So then I bought a table. It's not exactly what I want, but it's shiny and tall and the price is right. And now I can finally give my old tables to whoever wants to come haul them away.

Now I can go in to work a bit early instead of horrendously late, and I'll actually have time for coffee before my meeting, and then I can leave before 5. Although I'm probably going to have to take work home. Still, huzzah!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have been up for an hour and a half. What is wrong with this picture? Still probably going to be late for work, if history is any guide. But I have discovered Lush olive oil soap, which is marvelous.

Yikes. Temps in the nineties from tomorrow all the way through next week. Thank god for my superpowered AC.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Strega! Just wanted to mention, I love the guide to impersonating Scorpius.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Jennifer Crusie reports she has what seems to be Darth Turkey on her deck.

Aw, thanks billytea! I'm still relearning how to do recaps, so those first few are kind of shaky.
