Now hold on, I'm gonna press the right pedal harder. I expect us to accelerate.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hmm. I tried the cancel option on Netflix, and it seemed like I got to the point of no return without them offering me a hold. And I didn't want to accidentally cancel my account. But knowing it's there somewhere is good.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Though I will grant that quoting "Mr. Roboto" at key moments has excellent comic effect.

Does it work when you're trying to make the moves on your woman or does that only work for "Lady"?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

“Liberals have never liked her, and we’ve always gotten complaints [from them]. But the complaints that mattered the most were from the conservative readers,” who felt that their views were being misrepresented.

What, they don't care about complaints from liberals, but if conservatives complain they gotta do something?

That makes a certain amount of sense to me. God knows there are some "liberal" columnists I wish would just stop pretending to be on my side.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"Lady" is not for beginners. You have to give a committed performance, which is very difficult to do. In fact, Jason Segel might be the only actor in Hollywood capable of going out on that limb.

Did you see they used Martin Starr on How I Met Your Mother? He was great. Almost unrecognizable since he wasn't Bill Haverchuck. HIMYM is like a wackass AU Buffyverse / F&G crossover.

I also spotted Danica McKellar (Winnie from Wonder Years) on HIMYM. She looked very pretty.

Between that and disco dancing, one must wonder: what limb does not belong to Jason Segel?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Jason Segel might be the only actor in Hollywood capable of going out on that limb.

And Cartman.

He was great in Undeclared too. Also limb-risking.

And Cartman.

Not technically an actor.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

tried to read that artical twice - it kept crashing firefox. but I had guilt - because I had three movies for a year ( I still have one) but I decided 1) that was the point of netflix and 2) we just got out of the habit. We are on the three month plan with an almost 100 movie queue. But a lot are tv series. and what I have home depends on Matt - there's buches of stuff we both like - some that are more for him and then there is lots that is just for me -but I watch most of that when he is out of town. Sometimes, I watch lots of tv, and lately i just don't. I am slowly catching up on Lost - but I don't like to sit and stare at it, so I watch it while doig other things. Same with a lot ot the TIVOed movies.- they are old friends , or sillier things or kids movies. Netflix stuff I often want to sit and watch, so it means time.
