Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Congrats to Rah-Rah!

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Thank you, and I'll pass the congratulations along. There is also going to be a cake made by ElenaB's very talented husband. All I know is that RahRah and fiancee requested something that wouldn't look out of place in a Dr. Suess book. I can't wait to see what he made!

Unfortunately it's absolutely pouring - there's a heavy rainfall warning. That's probably supposed to be good luck, though. Right?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy anniversary, Lysana!

Congrats to your sister, Ouise!

A friend of mine is getting married next month, and while I'm normally pretty content to be single, it depresses me that I have no one to shanghai into going with me.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Anniversary, Lysana and DH!

Congrats, Rah-Rah!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Congrats to Rah-Rah!

Ooooh, just as a good friend from college has moved to Manhattan, Jet Blue is launching non-stop service to NYC from Columbus! Woo hoo!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Post-toasties:

My next door neighbor is visiting family in Israel this week and I'm now officially worried about her. I'm calling her daughter this morning to see where she's at and if she's coming home early.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congratulations to Rah Rah! I had no idea Helena was one of yours. Cool.

Art Crawl!!!

I hear that NBC is going to be re-showing some of PR.

Woo hoo for Ouise and her family -- sounds like an excellent celebration.

I LOVED both Rock Star and Project Runway last night. I'm really liking this season's designers. Looks like alot of variety and very varied backgrounds.
