"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

The funniest part is, if the new parents wanted to call me and correct my terrrible misimpression of their infant-naming skills, they can't! Because I left my phone at home! (By accident.) I am pretty sure they don't have internet at the hospital, so a correction as to name and the details and all that may not arrive for a day or two.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday Abby!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Abby!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a terribly trivial fashion question to ask.

I'm going to be wearing either a multiple-shades-of-grey dress to a wedding this weekend, or mostly black with some white. What colour should I paint my nails? What I have to choose from (because I'm not going cosmetics shopping between now and then) is iridescent white, black, blood red, or beige.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Red.

Hands and toes?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Seconding the red. If you're going to paint the toes, then same color as the nails.

My first instinct is, yes, hands and toes. Maybe red hands and white toes.

Whatever you do, not beige.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thirding red.
