If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Just saw that. Scary.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

A 3-story building exploded and then collapsed in NY this morning.

I just read about that -- all the subway announcers were saying was "due to a [garblegarblegarble] delays [garblegarble] thank you for your patience" (translation: All the trains are fucked this morning and we're not telling you why! Whee!)

Do they have any idea what caused it yet?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Ack. First put in too much, then deleted it all.

Anyway, radio doesn't say anything about the cause except it ISN'T terrorism.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It's too early to tell, but neighborhood resident and noted munitions expert Larry King called into CNN and said it sounded like a bomb.

I'm betting it's a gas leak.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Someone told me gas explosion on the way in today.

I've been hitting refresh on 1010wins.com, but they're not really saying anything new.

I've seen one speculation that it may have been the doctor's office on the ground floor (oxygen tanks).

Because books.

NBC is saying an "odor of gas" was reported in the building next door.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's not quite the building exploding, but I came into work this morning and found out that the impending outsourcing of my entire department is OFF. You would have thought they'd nailed down the important numbers -- like, would they save money on the deal -- long before they announced that it was imminent.

Management by Dilbert's boss -- or Michael from The Office....

Theo, that means you get to keep working for the PHBs! Yay?
