Allyson, I hope it gets fixed soon. Is there any thought to looking for a new place? I know that would suck, but from your neighbors' said, it looks like this is sop for your landlord.

I am waiting for a/c repair man to show up. The 8am call said my appt. would be btw 12-2, so I'm more than halfway through the waiting, I hope.

The apartments are so expensive, msbelle. It'd be hard to find a place in the area for the same price and then there's the expense of moving. I'm really just torn. I am taking Strega's advice and having the city inspect my unit. I hope the pressure makes them act.

Stuff like that Times article is why I'm surprised so many people I know have never heard of TWoP. I guess those people wouldn't really read those articles, is why.

Allyson, my ac woes pale in comparison and I was serious rage girl. I think you have every right to go godzilla on them. It sucks.

So I'm packed, trash is taken out, large travel purse is filled to bursting with entertainment and I'm eating lunch. In about an hour, I leave and take the cat to vet and then to the airport. Whee!

I guess I should check my flight times, huh?

Allyson, you really need you and Ruby to be in a hotel--this isn't safe for your health, or your belongings. I know once half the contacts Strega posted see the damage, you will, in fact, own the building, or very nearly. Go get 'em. This is unacceptable on any level.
