I have half a ham and cheese sandwich with mustard left that you are welcome to. You'll just need to come get it.
I'm not bothered by presents coming or going.
I had Persian food for the first time on vacay, and it was SO GOOD. I am still craving it, even though I had it last night. Mmm, kubideh.
I dreamt last night that I went to a conference in a West Texas desert town (I can't remember which one it was supposed to be, but I think Marfa), and wandered upon a Buffista F2F in one of those Old West hotels. Y'all had commandeered most of the public spaces in town and covered the town with glittery silver Christmas tree decorations and hanging mirror balls. I kept trying to tell y'all my name - my real name and the aka I use here - but the music was so loud that no one could understand me. When I tried to fill out a nametag, the pen ran and smeared everything into illegibility. I finally got JZ (who, for some reason, was speaking only in a terrible fake British accent) to understand me (JZ: "Cor blimey!"), but she was swept into a massive mosh pit forming on the dance floor. That's all I remember.
Wow, Corwood. What did you eat before you went to bed?
Whatever it was, I think I'd like some.
I don't remember what I dreamed about last night, aside from that one of them had vampires in it, and they apparently had special vampire bicycles that also burned up in sunlight. Have no idea what that dream as actually about, though.
What did you eat before you went to bed?
A big heaping bowl of Weird Dream-eos.
That subway thing was effed up. The injured guy seems to be doing amazingly well. [link]
Humph. I'll have you know that my fake British accents (of which I have several) are
just fine,
thankyouverymuch.
However, the decorations sound amazing. We need to book the dreamfolks who did them for the next F2F. And an Old West hotel would be fantastic. All the corsetry would look just perfect, and maybe in addition to the theremin and bellydancing performances we could tap one of the LAistas to hit a prop shop and bring us a bunch of breakaway sugar bottles for a nice old-fashioned bar fight.
