It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Of course, I've been saying that to bon bon for years.

I do not recall this!

Also,

I just listened to an enormous backload of natter

What's this now?

What's this now?

I used Opera's reading feature. It's not exactly great, but it lets me listen while working on something since I don't have time to read it. I had to write a python script to reformat the threadsuck to make it easier to listen to though.

Tom and Jesse: I am wide open this week, AFAIK.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The first book I read that had sex in it was an actual joy of sex-type manual (with hideous 70s photos!) my parents hadn't hidden well enough. I was too young to understand what was going on in it, and thought all the naked people looked silly.

The first thing I can remember once my buddy the psychologist's kid explained sex to me in 4th grade was Peter Straub's Ghost Story.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I think Bridge to Terabithia was the first book I read where someone dies and people have sex (I am thinking of the right book?),

Nope. One of the main characters dies, but they don’t have sex. They’re 10!!

Our CEO is convinced that LAy skipped the country, until they show the body.

sits next to the CEO, waiting for results of DNA test

I think I will teach the following novels: Haunting of Hill House, The Great Gatsby, The House of Mirth, and The House of the Spirits.

Made of awesome.

I wonder what the first book I read with sex was

At first, I thought Forever, by Judy Blume. It was on the 8th grade shelf in middle school. Hmm, maybe the Thornbirds, but I think I was watching the mini series with my dad. V. embarrassing, I remember the scene where Meggie gets her period, and my dad asked if I knew what was going on.

Then I remember that I got in trouble when I was 11 for reading the sex books at the library. A bunch of us used to go to the library after school and hang out (yes, I was a geek early) I remember a book that had a penis and vagina on legs, as characters in the book. We made photocopies and dropped one. Got caught by the librarian, who called our parents. My mother decided that this meant that it was time for The Talk. She had a yellow legal pad with an outline on it. As she went over each point, she checked it off with a pencil. I just stared at the kool-aid stain on the rug and prayed for death.
