It's insanely summerly gorgeous in SF today. Emmett and I rode bikes down to Stow Lake, barely avoided a fight, then discovered they were offering the little motorboats for rent again (after five years), so we toodled around on a sundappled lake, scaring the ducks, eating popcorn, waving to the turtles and drinking Icees and root beer and I told him about the boat we had when I was growing up.
In fifteen minutes we go off to the end-of-season party for our baseball team at the manager's house. I intend to kick some serious ass at ping pong over there. JZ's cooked up batches of cookies and brownies for the potluck.

I didn't get much accomplished this afternoon, as an encore showing of Walking With Prehistoric Beasts was on and I got kind of swept away in it. But then I made some Turkey Helper which was yum even with the sad absence of onion flakes, so yay.
