"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Mattress shopping in a big air-conditioned store is a good way to spend a muggy morning/afternoon.

ETA: Air-conditional? What the heck was that?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yes-- I am covered for lunches. I also have some spanakopita. I have frozen shrimp and frozen marinated chicken. I have carrots, but not much else in terms of veggies. I have some eggs too.

I don't like brussel sprouts, and I should avoid broccoli and cauliflower.

One of them is in a whole other country...though actually closer than the one who's in the US.

Oh, my poor little brain can't wrap itself around that. I just can't think in *that* long distance.

know any women who'd be interested in dating a female Reform rabbinical student?

Hmm, there aren't any Reforms that I know in Israel, so usually here if somebody is gay, it (well, almost) automatically means they're not religious, or connected in any way to religion, so the whole "rabbinical student" thing may be an issue. Hmm. So I'm afraid I can't help you with that. But I'll keep my eyes and ears open, just in case.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

do you have any TJs frozen meals?

No.

do you have any frozen meat?

I have a couple of chicken breasts and soy burgers.

what veggies do you have already?

Fresh? None. Frozen? Umm...okra, broccoli, green beans.

and what are foods you must avoid?

Nothing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But I'll keep my eyes and ears open, just in case.

Thanks! Oh, and she's in Jerusalem. Just, you know, in case someone comes up in conversation....

I think I'm warming myself up to telling everyone I know that I'm looking for set-ups, so trying to set someone else up is an easier (for me!) version.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Breakfast was a success - we fed 20 people pancakes and bacon and spanish tortillas ( tortias? - egg potato dish) and coffee. last people left 10 minutes ago. they ate and then they all hung around and talked long enough so that all my gestures were not made with a pancake flipper. If there was no food to put away it would be nap time.

she's in Jerusalem

Clearly, you must visit her there. Clearly.

(Um, if she needs anything at all that a Hebrew speaking Israeli can help her with, by the way, could you please let me know?)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Lee, I thought you had a dairy avoidance. yes?

All three of you

1) buy a bag or plastic tub of mixed green salad
2) cook up some of either rice, couscous, or quinoa to go with chick and veggies one meal and perhaps be a small side another night.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Nilly, it is so nice seeing you online and chatting!
