All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I have yogacized and now I think I'm going to get me some lunch. Then perhaps a festive afternoon of house-cleaning. The fun never ends!

Mrph. I had my first bout of insomnia in ages and ages. Luckily, I had an obsession to keep me busy: a/c!

It's now freezing up such that the compressor won't turn off and I think it is filling the vent with frozen, because the output of the vents gets less and less and less. If I cut off the compressor at the breaker and leave the fan on, the air output slowly increases. So that's the experiment I was running at 3 am. FUN.

Insomnia with a project, even an unpleasent one, is so much less awful.

At least it is cool out now.

I need to go out to get quarters for laundry and run a few errands. And I need to buy some hot weather food, since I haven't had any around and the result has been fast food or barely eating.

Ha! I just got program copy to check before it goes to print. The costume designer's bio starts with

HER NAME hails from Kansas where her parents instilled in her a deep admiration for theatre and evolution.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I went out. I did errands. I'm back in my cave home, and burning stuff for Dana, which is appropropriate, since I hear it might be her birthday.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Heh.

OMG why am I watching the most annoying What Not To Wear ever?? (The tall woman who wouldn't let them cut her hair.) I hate this woman! It cracks me up that they gave her punitive makeup, though.

brillig

Consuela, is there a resource that summarizes archaeological law state by state? I'm playing with a book where one of the heroes is an archaeologist working at a small college in Pennsylvania, and I want to make sure I've got the laws right for her being able to shut down a development where they've found an old cemetery etc.

JetBlue is a good airline, right?

Dana's birthday is tomorrow.

I am exhausted and covered in paint chips.
