Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nilly, I am glad things are a little calmer, and I hope the rest works out soon.

Ginger linked to this elsewhere, but it needs to be here:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday strongly limited the power of the Bush administration to conduct military tribunals for suspected terrorists imprisoned overseas at the U.S. Navy base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Not all good though:

The 5-3 ruling means officials will have to come up with a new policy to prosecute at least 10 so-called "enemy combatants" awaiting trial -- it does not dispute the government's right to detain suspects.

Thanks, you guys.

Also, Lee! You're Lee again! Welcome back, name-of-Lee! Now I'll never have to imagine that Perkins took hold of your computer when you didn't notice. How's Ozzie doing?

Thanks Nilly! It feels good to be me again.

Ozzie is... well, yesterday was his second day of Kitty Prozac. It seems to be working okay.

I guess the real test is to do something guaranteed to freak him out, and I can see how you might not want to try that...

Hope things only improve for you and yours, Nilly.

Well, there was a moment on the first day when he semi fell over on the couch, and between his leaning against me, the drugs, the squishy couch, and his belly, the only way to get him back where he could sit upright was for me to move (really fast) off the sofa and let him fall the rest of the way over. That made him hiss, but I think I was laughing harder.

~~~Nilly~ ma~~~
In "there has to be a better way" work new, I am currently tabulated course evaluations by hand. For Nursing Contact Hours, students complete an evaluation based on the course objectives, so each and every on eis different. We have to report the results to the accrediting agency. The only way I have found to tabulate them is by making little hash marks on a piece of paper for each question's rating. The I plug the numbers and the number of evaluations into an excel speadsheet to calculate the percents. Then, I cut and paste the percents into this stupidly formatted word table which is how we have to do it.
Grrr.
