Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Definitely! I'll call you/email you later for the deets?

Yay!!! Email is probably better as I won't be home before 10 or 11 any night this week.

Hippo birdies, Hec! Also, much -ma for Nilly's family and friends.

Finally caught up. Fun but exhausting weekend. It's amazing how much just driving for hours on end can wear you out.

I'm a Honda girl myself. At least, until I can afford this.

I have an eleven year-old version of SA's dream Saab and I still love it. Which is fortunate, because I live in a small town and I bike or walk to work, so I have put only 40,000 miles on the car. I figure that I'll be 90 before I can justify buying a new car. I wonder if my love will last that long?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dude, I'm not your problem. Your colleague is.

Oh, I hear you. This happens to me all the time, and apparently the solution is to nursemaid the colleague.

Okay, so it works. But that really doesn't mean it's optimal.

I've sent three emails. I don't have a phone number. There's fuckall I can do for now. Besides, some people who've read the policy plastered everywhere for the past 15 years actually get this sort of thing straightened out ahead of time.

Tell me about it. I have Friday off, and it is never ever going to get here.
