Hopefully they are things that can wait until next week/weekend then.
I am trying to figure out what to serve for brunch next week. I seem to be stuck after bubbly and OJ.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Peach puree.
That too.
Oddly, I think maybe I should have some food too.
I'm writing about Catalina, and this is ita:
Parked in front of the fireplace, draped in a Winter coat and huddled under a blanket, ita quietly read a book, looking like a Hip Hop version of Whistler’s Mother. Despite spending several Winters in Montreal, Michigan, and the UK, ita has never lost her Jamaican internal temperature control and sleeps in wool socks in Los Angeles in June.
Oh Allyson, that's priceless.
Lee, I recommend a frittata. You can cook it ahead of time and leave it to cool while you meet and greet the guests. Or waffles, as they can rest in the oven.
I'm allergic to wool. My socks are heavy-weight athletic cotton instead.
Man, I'd love to not need them, but it's been a scant handful of days so far this year I've not had the cold toesies.
So sexy and romantic, eh?
That's me, all over.
Those are both good ideas, Burrell, except that I have issues with frittatas, or rather the making thereof.
Frittatas are easy, if'n you have the right pan. Just put the non-egg ingredients in the pan first, then about 6 or 7 eggs, stir a bit, let set (about 5 or 10 mins), then put in the broiler to brown the top (about 3 mins). Let sit for at least 5 minutes, although I like it closer to room temp myself.
Thanks, ita. I fixed the sock issue.
Thanks. It was important, in case the fan club devoted to me that will surely develop decides to mail me stuff, that it be factually correct.
