The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Same thing that happened to Kitty Fantastico?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But he had such a tough hide!

Maybe he go drowned by a giant octopus?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That sounds more likely.

Now, why would Castillo see a specialist about symbols he thought were Asian? Only to be told they were Japanese? The man's a fucking samurai, was married to a Japanese woman, meditates in a Shinto-esque temple, and reads the language. It's true I don't recall him reading it, but he does read Thai. Also, any who'd been paying attention knew it was either Japanese or Chinese.

I sense it's time for me to go to bed.

The casting director owed the actor who played the expert a favor?

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Plus, Adrian Pasdar! On TV again!

Quite fortuitous, as I just started with Profit tonight. I kind of like it. AP is not a bad actor, nor ugly on the eyes. Not a bad voice either. I guess I'll watch the rest. And maybe his new show and, well, anything else he might be in.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

And maybe his new show and, well, anything else he might be in.

NEAR DARK is definitely worth a rental.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Huh -- did Perkins change her board name again? Because this suspicious 'Lee' character seems to sound a whole lot like her....

Yes, I've been out of it over the past couple days.

Our wings are not tired.

Lee! It seems that Perkins may have been sneaking into Lee's laptop and posting. Perkins does a pretty good Lee impression after spending so much time together.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, where are you staying in Vegas?

We've rented a house somewhere supposedly convenient to stuff. The key fact is that it will only be like $100/person for the three nights.

Jesse, when she wakes up and reads this, will be amused to find out that I discovered several avocados when I got home and promptly made guacamole. But that wasn't really dinner, that was food to nibble while feeding the kids. DH is picking up Indian food right now. Mmmm. Haven't had Indian food in forever.

Yay guacamole! I actually eat snacks for dinner on purpose, as a weight-maintenance strategy, because I LOVE THEM, but at some point in my youth, my mother and I figured out that our crackers and cheese before dinner were actually a meal's worth of calories. And then we were having a hardy dinner as well. Leading to the fatness, in our cases. So there you have it.
