Our wings are not tired.

Wow, I just watched that video Tom. That was some smooth landing. Well done.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Perkins, you ARE up too early. I emailed you though.

Perkins, give it time. Pretty soon you'll be able to wake up 5 minutes before the appointed time and be back to bed within 10 minutes!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think so, Sarameg. I am pretty good about the afterwards part already, but need to work on the before part.

How is your AC doing?

Nora, back flung.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Does getting massages count as a hobby? I could totally take that up.

That does sound like an excellent plan. Or how about watercolors? I don't remember them having any smell. Of course I could be wrong. Ooh! Colored pencils!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

you said that Pesto makes your head hurt. Any chance you could be allergic to basil or pine nuts? I am pretty sure I am.

Not sure. I have developed a strange sensitivity to olive oil--it's okay in small quantities, but when there's enough that it's really part of the flavour, it makes my head hurt. So I'd been writing it off as that.

Wait--definitely not allergic to basil. Allergic to pine nuts would be okay, since pesto's the only time I encounter them.

Also, re: sleep and shots, listen to sarameg. She's a pro.

Colored pencils!

Nice idea! I can easily factor in collecting as well as using.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Stonehenge pocket-watch predicts solstices

This amazing Stonehenge pocket-watch lets you "tell time like a Druid" by aligning the miniature circle of stones using a built-in compass and then looking at the shadows. As a bonus, it also predicts the winter and summer solstices.

Huh. "I tell time like a Druid" might be a good line for an online dating profile....

Are those stones in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

"Think you have the stones to date me, boyo?" "Sure! I can even align them for chronological purposes--see?"
