Emily, rents in SF are far better than they were 4 years ago, and better than house prices (which never ever ever will go down, I suspect).
You can be carless in places outside the city (like in some neighborhoods in the East Bay), but if you're a city gal I suspect you'd prefer to stay there. Will you be working in SF?

I like the first pic best, Allyson, but, as others have said, all of them are gorgeous and adorable. It's been a long time since I've seen a picture of you, and your hair seems a bit longer now.
