So I took myself off to the local theater and saw "The Lake House". Which, after I got over the shock of Keanu Reeves not being 19 anymore, was really quite a likeable little movie.
I don't have any problem with Keanu aging, but the idea premise seems hard to handle to me. Did they explain it well? To clarify, I'm not looking for how, just the level of handwaving necessary.
Libkitty,
They don't even bother with a handwave. It's just... this is what's happening, go with it. And they do. And I was at home before I realized they'd never explained it.
OK, now I wish I had the A/C in. Bleh.
Asking for alliteration assistance: what's a word for parentage that starts with S?
"strain"
"siring"?
not quite it, are they?
Spawn?
I guess that's the opposite.
Hee. "Surprise!" Strain almost works, but not quite.
This may or may not help, and I guess I should have posted in Boxed Set, but for context: "Scorpius's Scarran/Sebacean _____"
Maybe there's a ps-- word.
Edited because I can't spell any of these damn made-up alien races.
