Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Theodosia's day is making me tired, even though she is 3 hours ahead. I did accomplish the first big thing on my to-do list, but that's about it.

That's really unfortunate.

Reminds me of when I had a boss where, after I'd send him an email that needed a documented response, I'd have to walk down to his office "Hi. I just sent you an email you need to respond to quickly." "Oh, I was supposed to reply?" And I'd stand there as he fluttered and darted to the computer and replied. He asked me to do this. Rather defeated one of the advantages of email.

I need to go out. Anything is better than sitting here watching the temp go up indoors (no, the a/c is not working well at all. A case where I hate being right.)

Always Anti-fascist!

Aw...did I get the 'Bot in trouble? I guess being consoling in the way Roxie is and offering you a fast...oh, never mind, but I'm guessing that won't help at all.

hip deep in pie

urgh, Allyson, that sucks. There's nothing worse that systems that only hinder the people it should help.

I just spent a large part of my day gardening. In a skirt. I'm off to have my second shower of the day.

information libertarian

Today we have achieved:

-Spending an entire Target gift card on stupid practical stuff (batteries, toothbrush heads, scotch tape, sippy cups) plus one fun thing (Curse of the Were Rabbit)

-Haircuts for all adults

-Now US vs Italy! Go blues!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Allyson, sorry about the work suckage. Some folks think technology is the solution to all problems, even when human ingenuity and insight is the better way to go.

I'm sitting here thinking that I could so win that $50K in the Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament. I kick ass at it.

Umm I'm trying to figure out how you strategize in rock, paper, scissors. I guess if you can develop a feel for what your opponent will play?

What is even happening?

Zenkitty, much strength to your family. Is your sister in communication with your mother's doctor(s)? Any chance mom is over-medicated or wrongly medicated?

The only way to really strategize is by thinking two or three moves ahead and trying to figure out how your opponent follows up with a move. Some people will do the same thing every single time to follow up a particular move. If you can catch their tell, you're golden. I can beat my DH nearly 85% of the time because he has certain moves that he just can't break out of.

I've gotten out of dog walking and dirty diaper changes with this.
