Wah Wah Wah.
ummmm, NO. I think NO. YOU should come to my let's be happy it is Friday and was a nice day sitfest.
I think the only non-sitting activity is going to be - putting things into my new side tables in the livingroom.
Does your party have cookies?
Mine has cookies (or at least one Ginourmous Cookie), and possibly alcohol as well.
no cookies in my house at all. My party has water only, but it also has joy and good music and happiness.
Your party sounds like fun, but like there is no wallowing involved. I think I need to wallow, just for the day.
ok, have it your way. My wallow has gone on walk-about. I know it will be back at some point, but I am enjoying this time apart.
One side table has magazine on one shelf and knitting books on the other. The other side table has the wireless router and electrical cords on one shelf and so far the portable planitarium on the other.
I think I need to wallow, just for the day.
Kiddie pool and lots of jello. Or pudding, whichever you prefer.
Sheesh, Sophia. My heart beat faster, just reading about it, even though I knew you had to be pretty okay to be posting.
Also? What Plei said.
Something that only New Englanders will get: I betrayed my heritage at the Mr Frosty truck when I ordered my ice cream with "chocolate sprinkles." THEY'RE JIMMIES!!!!
You know Jesse, when you didn't catch Aimee's Harry Frazee reference, I was understanding—disappointed—but understanding. Tell me you're suffering from frappe deprivation or something, or we're going to have you blackballed from your local packie. If you don't get it together, people are going to be ragging on you wicked bad at the water bubbler, come Monday.
jimmies and sprinkles were often called "shot" by my New England mother (who was in charge of all things ice cream).
Huh, I've never heard that, although it makes way more sense than "jimmies."
Ooops, too late for Jesse.
Sparky, from which N.E. state did your mom hail?
Sue, you can call the colored jimmies jimmies, but if you're at a place that has chocolate jimmies and colored, you'd better specify you want the colored. ijs.
Hey, for those of you that say jimmies, are you referring to chocolate sprinkles only? Because when I was little, we'd argue about calling the multi-coloured sprinkles jimmies too.
Yes, jimmies are all colors.
Otherwise they'd be Jimmie Crows?

I now must have ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. In fact, I may have to buy some of each and bring them home because I'm an adult now and get to do that. Hurray!
