Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Maceo Parker isn't "some saxophonist!" The man is like unto a god. A god of funk.

Oh yeah, I meant to say something about that, too.

Always Anti-fascist!

Wow, Corwood, get some opinions or something, babe. You gotta cut out this wishy-washy crap.

It's all good.

Herding cats for fun

Wow on Sophia for the cool-under-pressure in the face of the drunken guy in the backseat. I probably would have yelped.

Oh yeah! I meant to say that, too -- I think I'm like Sophia, and more likely to freeze first and then react.

Wheee! So my friend that moved to Wmsburg and I kinda miss is 3 months pregnant with her 2nd. She's continuing her habit of managing to get knocked up when most people would be too busy to manage to eat & sleep, much less anything else. Very happy for her.

I've got to cram a weekend trip to visit before the summer is over.

ION, as much as I prefer booking tickets online rather than having to, you know, talk to the humans, OMG I swear the sites have gotten more and more buggy and convoluted and stupid. If it weren't for the fact that all the good times and flights were full, I would have stuck with Southwest on principle. Sigh. It took 3 sites and 4 attempts to book tickets. STOP MAKING ME REGISTER. TAKE MY CREDIT CARD INFO BUT STOP FORCING ME TO MAKE UP YET ANOTHER USERNAME.

I am seriously done with working this week. I need to make up stuff to be busy with, so I'm not tempted to sit here and chat with my office mate, because she reports to me and that just looks bad. Hmmm.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Landlord wants to treat the building for pests on Monday. Which means I should do a bunch of cleaning this weekend.

Bah.

Also, our biggest client's timesheet server just died, which means I might have to come in this weekend to help set up the new one.

Double-bah.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Egad Sophia, I would have hit that man. Seriously. Screamed first, then hit him.

Lillian is the most absurdly kewpie faced baby I have ever seen. She's utterly gorgeous, and I say that as a very biased mother. You really should dress her up as Bettie Boop for Halloween.

Oh, also I finally got the pack sent out to you. Now I need to e Cashmere about her address as I seem to have misplaced it.

Good lord: [link]

(it's a theater just up the road from me.)

Freaky. I think I'll avoid catching a movie there this weekend, just cause, well, its floors are often sticky which tells me a little about their cleaning protocols and um, ew.
