I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

They are charging me $10 for shipping, libkitty.

I have no desire to cook. Or, at this time, eat, but that will probably change.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Ooh, Shake Shack.

In non-lame news, I just bought the cutest bathing suit EVER at Marshall's. It is actually pretty flattering, a wrap-style one piece in a palm-frond print in shades of brown and black ...and was $20. Yes, reduced to $20 clams. Woo hoo!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay for cheap and cute!

Art Crawl!!!

Anyone else watching Waterloo Road?

I was wondering why there would be a vehicle with it's steering wheel on the left (like ours) in the UK? Does that make it something like a mail truck?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That would make sense.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

That's one smug looking cat. shrift, I take it the kitten knows its hit the jackpot.

It totally has. Our last family cat died at the end of April, I moved to Chicago in May, and my mom gets off work for the summer very shortly, which means that kitten will have the entire house and my mother for her willing slave.

Could I get Random Ego Boostage, please? I'm a good person, and mumble something I forget, and People Like Me? I used to be sexy, I'm occasionally smart, and I have terribly good intentions?

I'm a wee bit tipsy, and nervous about tomorrow. Fucking high school. Fucking... fuck. Fuck.

In return, I offer... uh. I made a Geometry Jeopardy game! And I have many amusing papers about pi. Oh! And! Some kid said he wished I taught Algebra II so I could be his teacher next year. Which, honestly? Even if he IS just kissing ass? So. Sweet. So this one total... er, two or three promising young women with unfortunate social propensities are not the end of the world, right? Even if I didn't handle it right? Nobody died. And even if they did lose all respect for me, who cares! I have to spend less than three more hours with them in our entire lives!

Okay, drunkenness fun. Buffistas yay! Whee!

Er, sorry. I chugged my G&T.

Also, one day I'll stop being NGA again, right? We don't talk about the NGA club so much anymore. Why is that? Is everybody GS but me? Or have the rest of you matured past that point? ("We do not press the point. We waive it. We look over it.")

Seriously. Big G&T, total chug. I'll go away soon. Sorry.

You're very smart, Emily. You're sexy. You're a good friend. Even more important, YOU WILL NEVER SEE THOSE PEOPLE AGAIN.

One week, all new people! By this time next week, they will be over and done with!
