Why would you want the robots to mate?!??!?!
Because then they will be too busy to take over the world?
IOmememeN, I just discovered that the copy room closest to my new office has an industrial grade shredder. I wonder if anyone will notice if I move my bunk my office in there.
Just saw this in the Chicago Tribune:
A bevy of Broadway names including Liz Callaway, Danny Gurwin, George Hearn, Brian d'Arcy James, Judy Kaye and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio all have signed up for the huge "Sondheim in the Park" celebration, slated for July 14-16 in Millennium Park. The premise of the free, weekend-long event is that Sondheim music will be interpreted at varied times by a wide spectrum of local arts group stationed throughout the park. But the centerpiece is two major free concerts, scheduled for the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at 6:30 p.m. on July 14 and 7:30 p.m. on July 15, featuring the star names performing with the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus. Broadway director Gary Griffin is directing the event (which has been sanctioned by Sondheim), with Kevin Stites serving as conductor.
I just wish they would do a few of the plays, but his music is good in concert form, as well!
Tell me how this isn't the first step along the road to global robot domination?
The Economist is asking essentially the same thing this week:
Can robots be trusted?
OMG I am hating technology right now. Why does nothing work?!?!? Stupid old and/or crappy technology!!
Jesse, how is your second week of work going? I hope it's less tiring.
So far, it's about equally tiring, sadly. My brain is full! And I really need to get cracking on Actual Work, but I don't feel ready! Luckily (ha), I'm in meetings literally all day tomorrow.
I AM GETTING RID OF ALL MY STUFF AIFG!! or, you know, some of it and I am overly excited and wound up.
