I'm out on the patio again. Damn, I love it out here when the weather is perfect like this.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Dear Client:

I know it is your job to get more for free, but if you want to reduce the price of a report, adding more to it is not the way for that to happen.

KThxBye!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Has anyone ever had an infected tear duct? And if so, how did it present?

Shrift, have you tried an antihistamine? Allergies tend to make my ducts itchy and swollen and the allergens are flying around here.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The vet called me this morning to tell me Ozzie the cat was diabetic and needed to be started on Insulin right away.

The vet did not call back me back either of the two times I called back with questions.

The vet also did not call in the insulin prescription he promised he would.

I honestly can't remember the last time I have been this angry.

Perkins, I hope you can find a good vet and get Ozzie taken care of quickly.

Thanks. I'm less angry now, since one of the other vets called me back and I at least got the prescription filled.

I figure I am going to call tomorrow and see if they will assign Ozzie to the other full time vet full, and if not, make it clear that I am only there until I can find another vet.

Benadryl, on top of the allergy meds I'm already taking. Doesn't seem to be getting worse at this point, so I am cautiously optimistic that it's just an allergic reaction.

nice morning, a little humid on the subway, but nice outside. Birds were chirping like mad in my neighborhood this morning. Thank goodness I can only hear them once I am outside.

Colds used to regularly make my tear duct drainage stop up. (Excess 'tears' -- eyeball moistening fluid -- drains into your sinuses.) So every cold, my eyes would just run tears if I, say, moved or looked at things. I don't know why this stopped with age, but damn am I glad it did.
