Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That whole thing sounds jackass, Aimee, technically wrong or not.

SAYS ME.

My entire day has been a boondoggle -- I spent hours getting to and from a meeting in New Jersey with my predecessor, then a long lunch with two co-workers, then a very minor amount of Actual Work. I guess I should still do more before I leave today.....

Shit's all sorts of different now.

goes with what Jesse says

This is a woman who CONSTANTLY uses the words, "am-bah-lance" and "lie-berry". Andnot being funny, either. IN MEETINGS. In all seriousness.

Hey, any New Yorkistas ever been to (or worked near) those morning show summer concerts? Prince is in Bryant Park on Friday, but I'm not psyched to get up at ass o'clock to hear two songs.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Bryant Park is not that big. It sounds like it could get really crowded. With an extra helping of tourist.

Yeah, it's kind of terrifying. But Prince!!!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Fuck the tourists, imagine all the Prince fans in the city.

In related news, I am annoyed at myself for ignoring all the work summer events I should have signed up for-- apparently Liev Schreiber is doing Macbeth for Shakespeare in the Park, and I totally didn't reserve a ticket. STUPID.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am sure you are not surprised, I have been to several Today show concerts. Usually getting there early enough to hear the sound check. I am not sure I could swing it with my crazy schedules now, but I might try it for Prince. It'd probably be the only time I'd see him in concert.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

bon bon, I'd cry.

I love Macbeth, too. Sigh.

Do they do more than the two songs that air? That's my real question. Because I have seen Prince in concert before, and it was awesome. Possibly worth dealing with crowds for several hours before the start of the work day awesome.

Dude, you could have just gotten a ticket?? Related to that, does Liev Schrieber have a real job any more, or does he just do Shakespeare in the Park?
