We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love the third picture with this story: [link]

Yay new furniture! How you feeling after all that sleep?

It is surprisingly nice out. I need a pedicure, but think maybe I should wait until tomorrow to give my blisters one more day to heal. Stupid work shoes.

I know. It's funny hearing the announcers talk about the "shocker" 0-0 tie.

I feel better after all the sleep, but I am still a little coughy.

1.5 pieces of furniture together.

It IS nice out. I am opening windows. Maybe after I finished assembling this one, I will take a walk to the PO and also get some food.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I heard an NPR story this morning about the Trinidad/Tobago (Togo?) team, so I'm tickled that they tied -- yay them!

Note: I do love Charlotte, but I'm impatient with flakiness. Everybody that's a flake, I want you all to sit and contemplate all the aggravation you cause for the non-flaky, appointment keeping people of the world. Cut it out!

And I'll take no guff about leaving the phone at home, as the plan was to collect Jacqueline at 10:00. No guff!

To be totally honest, right upfront, let me say that I'm impatient with flakiness, too. More than I should be.

That said -- where I come from, leaving your cell phone at home falls well within the definition of "flakiness." IJS.

Okay, okay, okay, ew. There's been a mysterious smell in my room for the last couple of days, which I've both wanted to find and dreaded finding, so I just went and moved some things out of the way, and -- dead mouse. Ew! Okay, it's not like I hadn't anticipated it, and there didn't seem to be any bugs, thank goodness. Still. Eek.

I am trying to determine an itinerary to my brother's wedding that doesn't include random 20-hour layovers in Beijing or Canton. It's difficult, especially since Sidestep.com doesn't appear to handle multi-stop trips. WTF?
