Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

Mercy is the mark of a great man. [beat] Guess I'm just a good man. [beat] I'm alright.

Hey!

I had a very lovely time meeting the lot of you. Javachik, I suppose we met but for some reason I can't place you. (I'm at DWS also.) Erika, I'm sorry I didn't get to say hello to you. Smonster, your dancing rocks the house. Appreciated the Scooby Road vid, even if I didn't get to see all of it (this was partly by choice, as I brought my laptop and wanted to use it).

That's not all that I enjoyed about the weekend, but I want to give special thanks to Deb, Juliana, and Lilibeth for doing so much to make the Prom and HS special. SuziQ, I'm so glad you invited us along to the ballgame, even those of us who aren't As fans. And thanks to Deb for being such a gracious hostess, and serving some good grub.

One more thing: OMGWTF Polar Bear Hand! (That's for Deb and Nic's dinner guests.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Dh said he would make fun of me if I fell asleep on the keyboard.

Don't do it. Drool can short out a keyboard....

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

BayCon planning meeting ate my brain -- we didn't get out until 10:30pm. I'm toast. Apologies to those at the BBQ; I meant to make it there, but it just wasn't gonna happen.

I love you all and it was glorious to see you. Have safe journeys home and thank you so much for the lovely memories.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh! Fay called me the loveliest lovely person in all of Lovelydonia, or something like that. That should be on my tombstone.

(It should be noted that all I did was carry her luggage downstairs.)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sigh....

F2Fs are just so much fun. I had a fabulous time but am just knackered right now.

I don't think insomnia faires will be around tonight. Cats are calling me to bed too. They might be right.

and saw many women kissing my husband.
I did ask for permission first.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Did I mention that I have to get up at 5:45? Yeah. We're 21 miles from home...and dead stopped on I-5. Multi-car accident ahead, apparently, and the paramedics *just* drove by. Fuckity.

I also just discovered that one of my-in theory-graduatiing seniors plagiarized his entire final paper from Spark Notes. That, combined with the four 70-minute classes I have to teach tomorrow, is going to make it a really long day.

But I love you all. And this weekend was great.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Well, P-C is most emphatically the loveliest lovely person in the history of Lovelyville. And not only because he carried two vast and cumbersome suitcases down a vast and slippery flight of stairs - but that certainly helped! P-C is very cool.

I have had such a very very lovely time. Will elaborate later, but just now I wanted to apologise to Deb, whom I didn't see to say thank you to earlier today when I scurried off with suitcases to the hotel. I'm hoping I'll see her today, maybe, to say thank you in person for all her most fabulous hospitality and kindness, but in the interim please consider this a public and most sincere apology for missing you this afternoon, and an enormous thank you.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Beyond tired. Need to be up early to get the Liko back to Hayward and get the HS emptied out. I also need to find fifty or sixty bucks to leave as a tip for the housekeeping staff; they were spectacular.

juliana, I'll talk to Lilibeth and get a total in the morning; we can then pay the hotel directly. If you want me to handle it, we can arrange a direct transfer from your WFB account to ours.

I have to fall down. Nine hours sleep the last three days and I'm tearful and incoherent with exhaustion.

But I'm damned glad everything went well. Also want to see more Prom photos, damn it.

Fay! No worries, love. Did you get your mug back?
