I endorse this style. Besides, the other way Hec was starting to bear a getting-much-too-close-to resemblance of Colonel Sanders. Who was far from cute and boyish, much less sexy.

That was the other factor. When I first grew the goatee it was darker and added some contrast to my pale features. As it got white, it made me feel too grampa-ish.

You know, looking at the prom pictures one thing struck me - it's as though someone sprayed the room with Body Image Demons Begone - everyone's wearing what makes them happy, and no one's being self-conscious about age, weight, flaws ... EVERYONE gets to be hot!

I'm trying to think of them as "before" pictures.
I am in the same boat. I had loads of fun, and I felt very pretty that night, but the pictures are a reminder of why I am now headed back to the gym and no longer stress eating. I think beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, but I like getting up in the morning, opening my closet, and putting on whatever I'm in the mood for. I don't like being down to about 10% of my wardrobe. And by not buying any more clothes, I force the issue with myself.

Hell, yeah. I need to get into the gym, because I'm obviously not doing anything at home. It's too comfy, with too many distractions. I get home and my motivation goes to bed, even if I'm still awake.
