I am awake. Soon, I will be getting on the road to go meet up with the Scooby Gang. You people are lucky I like you, because it was not light outside when I woke up, which is Just Not Okay, especially if it's not during the school year.
I'm not yet asleep, and it looks like I won't sleep. We leave for the airport in about an hour.
I was up at 4:30 by the toddler alarm. I'm hoping to get a quick nap before I leave for Madison else I'll be exhausted.

Gronk. We have had about ten minutes of sleep combined and don't have a direct flight...and then we have to battle our way through the flood plains to Madison. I have a feeling that the first thing we're going to do when we finally get to the hotel is nap.
After many delays at the airport (after landing) and getting my rental, I got to the hotel and asleep at 3 AM local time. And at 7 I got a call from Kate telling me her flight had been delayed an hour and that poor Smontster and Amyth missed theirs. So Kate should be here around 10 and if Smonster and Amyth's standby situation works, they'll get here after Kate. And I don't think I can fall back asleep, so, yeah, nappage once I get to Madison is going to be crucial.
And now I've gotta get a manicure because I peeled off half of my polish on my flight worrying about the crazed work scene I left behind.
My goodness! So much travel drama! I'm sending travel~ma to everyone that needs it!
