What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Was that Brendon Small on vocals?

Nope. H. Jon Benjamin. Though they both did voices for Home Movies, so I can see where you got that.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Steph, that video crashed Quicktime 7.4.5 about 5 seconds in. It plays with some hitches in the video in Irfanview 4.10

I upgraded Quicktime to version 7.5, re-downloaded the video, and got the same results.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Kate, I've got an embellished bra that came with instructions to spray with a 4:1 water:vodka solution to eliminate odors and bacteria - it's an ordinary formed cup bra, covered with linen, lined with "horsehair" padding, and cotton. Would the vodka solution help your corset, do you think?

Our wings are not tired.

I have nothing to wear. I may try to go shopping on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Honestly, I don't know what I can do to fix it. Sorry.

When I loaded it on Vimeo, something happened to make the music all screwy, so that was a bust.

Did the YSI version work for anyone else?

Ooh, maybe! It's pretty plain, as corsets go -- the fabric is just cotton, I think, though I forget what the boning is made of -- so I imagine your solution wouldn't do any damage, at the very least. Thanks!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I just spoke w/the hotel and will be taking the shuttle from the airport. Woo hoo!

wonders what stores are near our Sheraton

State St. has a number of excellent shops. There's one I plan on hitting up before prom that has a lot of nifty 1950's retro dresses. You're coming in a rental, right?

ETA: If you decide to do State St. Friday evening (and it's a fun place to "do"), keep in mind that other than the bars and restaurants, most of the stores roll up their carpets between 6 and 8pm. It's a very old-fashioned area in that sense.
