Bad Wolf

Are we sure Lake Louie does tours. Isn't the brewery basically a garage?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It may not have tours, but I'm sure there are a number of fine establishments there that serve Lake Louie. I distinctly recall returning a goodly portion of the 40 oz. free drink I got on one of my birthdays to the great porcelain deity in one of the bars in Arena.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Why don't you just kick me in the nuts and spit on my neck, you vicious vicious bastards?!

I hate to tell you this, but your phone called and made a special request that we do this.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

sober up for Prom.

Do what for the who now?

I hate to tell you this, but your phone called and made a special request that we do this.

Oh! Well, that makes perfect sense.

I think I shall fax it. Repeatedly. It hates that.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I can coordinate an arrival and phone list.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

HotR opens at 9:30, and Yahoo maps tells me that it's about an hour's drive from the hotel.

To get to HotR, you take highway 14 out to Spring Green.

Not 151 to Dodgeville?

Our wings are not tired.

I'd like to do both, too, so that seems a good solution!!

More than one way to skin a cat, dcp. HotR is on 23, halfway between Dodgeville and Spring Green. From the beltline you can either take 18/151 south/west and then north on 23 or west on 14 and then south on 23.

18/151 will take you through Verona, Mount Horeb (home of the Grumpy Troll), Barneveld (completely destroyed by tornados in 1986 or 87 and rebuilt) and Dodgeville (home of Land's End.)

14 will take you past the Mattel plant (formerly American Girl doll factory), Cross Plains, Black Earth (Shoe Box discount shoes, cheap!), Mazomanie, Arena and Spring Green (Taleisin and American Players Theatre.)

Six of one, half dozen of another depending on what folks would find more interesting to see. Make it a big loop and go one way there and the other way back.

Not javachik

I might go yet, if a last minute good deal can be had on Priceline. I haven't been able to commit what with family drama going on. (My mother's doing fine, thanks; Yay!)

Taliesin is near House on the Rocks. If I go, my goal is the full estate tour on Sat. starting at 9:30 AM, followed by House on the Rocks. It includes: Two hours into the tour, you’ll be served light refreshments on Mr. Wright’s Terrace.

[link] This all-inclusive tour includes the house and other sites on the Estate. Duration: 4 hours. When: May, June, September & October Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
