Also, for those going to HotR, Lake Louie microbrewery is in Arena on the way to Spring Green. You could stop there on your way in/out to get a taste of one of the local brews.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
I'm also down with the Beer tour (driving, etc.) I agree with SailAweigh on the Farmer's Market thing, but if you do go, you definitely need to go to the Smoothie Cart where main street meets the square. Absolutely delicious.
Also, for those of you beer nerds. I have a couple bottles of Three Floyd's Dark Lord from this years Dark Lord Day, a couple of bottles of Boulevard (double wide IPA and an Imperial Stout), Stone Ruination, and some other that I traded for at Dark Lord Day this year.
Oh bummer! I know that ND and I want to go to both of those tours, but I suspect we will end up going to HotR if we have to choose one.
WAIT!
You are going to make me choose between House on the Rock and beer?!
Why don't you just kick me in the nuts and spit on my neck, you vicious vicious bastards?!
Heh. I suspect ND and MM are one on this.
Maybe we can do the breweries Friday evening, too? As a secondary brewery field trip? Hm. No, we're probably going to want to hang in the HS as everyone arrives. Maybe Sunday? (Are they open Sunday?)

This is Wisconsin, theres plenty of beer anywhere, I'll donate my microbrew stash, plus I can always take a delegation to a liquor store to get as many micros as you'd like. Well, assuming Wisconsin will let me get a Driver's License.
I'm keeping it open and flexible. If DH brings the kiddos down for the afternoon on Saturday, we'll be less likely to do anything beyond hanging out and swimming at the pool in the hotel. And maybe lunch out (farmer's market sounds cool). When the kids go home, it will leave me open for later in the afternoon--or possibly morning stuff before they get here.
I guess what I'm saying is that I can't make definite plans.
Victor, that's very generous. You may be underestimating MM's love of beer (and breweries), however.
Here's a thought. To get to HotR, you take highway 14 out to Spring Green. To get to highway 14, you have to take the beltline, which just happens to swing past Capital Brewery. 14 runs through Arena (and a couple of other podunk towns) and out to Spring Green. On your way back from HotR you can stop at Arena for Lake Louie and then Capital Brewery. The folks doing the Farmer's Market/Brewery thing can save Capital Brewery for last and everyone (scarey thought) can meet at CB before heading home to sober up for Prom.
No that would make too much sense ;-)
