That's very cool, aurelia. I may look into that.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
Woo, road trip! I'm so excited. Oh, while I'm thinking about it, javachik, when were you planning on heading back to Chicago? Our flight isn't until Sunday evening but we were going to try and get together with amyth's brother during the day...
Sorry for the delay folks, I'm on vacation in Chile now and internet access is dicey.
I don't leave Chicago until Monday morning; I planned on driving to see my friends in Oak Park on Sunday night. So you can likely carpool back down with me, but if not, I am sure there are other rides.
Chile? Cool!
For my part, I'm staying Sunday & Monday nights with a friend in Chicago, so it doesn't matter too much to me what time we get back into town on Sunday.
I think we are heading to Chicago on Sunday at some point as well, so we'll probably have some spare seats.
Yeah, I am thinking between me and K&D, there'll be plenty o' seats. Not to mention all of the other b'istas who'll be heading that way!
(Chile is cool. Today I had a F2F with Pablo Neruda's grave! Some of you might remember Amie Backstrom. She was a Buffy Table-Talker and sometime Anarachyist. She lives in Santiago now, and was a great excuse to head to South America.)
Joe and I will also be heading back Chicago way on Sunday at some point.
Kate, Smonster and Amyth, I think I will stay in one of the airport hotels that has a free shuttle. That way as y'all arrive, you can take the shuttle to the hotel. Once everyone is at the hotel, we can depart. Sound good? I'll get a car that holds driver + 3 passengers. Y'all can chip in for gas or whatever, but I was going to get a car anyway, so no worries on rental fee. That sounds a lot more relaxing than driving around the airport trying to coordinate pick-ups. Work for you?
ETA: you can come up to the room and shower/clean up, too, so that you're refreshed for the drive.
Have I mentioned lately that javachik is one of the coolest, most awesome people in the entire world? Because she really is.
So how many people are in for this thing? Anyone know?
