Those of you who need to bus it from Chicago or Milwaukee should look into something called the VanGalder bus. You should be able to google it (using smartphone or else id link). It is nicer than greyhound and about the same price.

F2F 4: Too Much Candy, Never Enough Mojitos.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
Smonts, I was going to see how far I could drive towards Madison when I got in, but if there is roadtrippage to be had with y'all, I can stay at the airport. I need a car to drive back and forth between the Sheraton and the QI/Candlewood, so if y'all don't need a car once you're in Madison, this could work. Or if you want to leave before 10, it might not work. 'cause I don't wanna be rushing and I can't move before coffee. OTOH I would LOVE to drive up with such splendid company. :)
javachik, I think that would work out really well for us! amyth & smonster get into Chicago (O'Hare) at 8am, and I get in at 9am (O'Hare, and I'm going to have to check baggage because I'm going to a conference after the F2F, so it'll be more like 9:30 by the time I'm out), so meeting you at 10am is perfect! We're staying at the Candlewood, so we won't need the car once we get to Madison, either.
PixKristin, here is something that may interest you in Chicago, even if it's just to see the view from that building. [link]
That's very cool, aurelia. I may look into that.
Woo, road trip! I'm so excited. Oh, while I'm thinking about it, javachik, when were you planning on heading back to Chicago? Our flight isn't until Sunday evening but we were going to try and get together with amyth's brother during the day...
Sorry for the delay folks, I'm on vacation in Chile now and internet access is dicey.
I don't leave Chicago until Monday morning; I planned on driving to see my friends in Oak Park on Sunday night. So you can likely carpool back down with me, but if not, I am sure there are other rides.
Chile? Cool!
For my part, I'm staying Sunday & Monday nights with a friend in Chicago, so it doesn't matter too much to me what time we get back into town on Sunday.
I think we are heading to Chicago on Sunday at some point as well, so we'll probably have some spare seats.
Yeah, I am thinking between me and K&D, there'll be plenty o' seats. Not to mention all of the other b'istas who'll be heading that way!
(Chile is cool. Today I had a F2F with Pablo Neruda's grave! Some of you might remember Amie Backstrom. She was a Buffy Table-Talker and sometime Anarachyist. She lives in Santiago now, and was a great excuse to head to South America.)
