The Dane downtown is also nice, but it looks like the most convenient thing as far as beer goes would be the Fitchburg Great Dane.

If we want to feel fancy and go to a nice bar, I'd suggest The Icon on State Street, its a nice little Tapas bar.

Also for great Beligian type beer theres a wonderful European type bar on Monroe St. called Brasserie V, its in a nice neighborhood and its across the street from the Comic book shop if anyone wants to pick up the Angel Comic.

I'd heard we had one, but I didn't know the name. Definitely have to check that out! And the Brasserie V. I almost never get down to Monroe St, I'm really out of touch with what's out there.

Might want to consider the Grumpy Troll in Mount Horeb, too, since it's so close to New Glarus. It doesn't have a tour, it's a one shot brewpub, but they have fairly decent food and very good beer.

I had Grumpy Troll on the list, just for the name. Basically, my plan is to GoogleMap the breweries, pick a few close together, and suggest a plan.
