There are lake tours, river tours and a combo. I recommend the combo.

I highly recommend the architecture tour. I went on it a couple years ago and it was just amazing—such a great way to see Chicago. Plus, you can walk about a half mile south on Michigan Ave. afterwards and have perhaps the world's best hamburger at The Gage.

Okay, tickets for Madison bought! amyth and i will be getting into O'Hare at 8 am Friday morning. vortex and katep, itinerary insent.

(FWIW, I found the tickets on travelocity for $203, fees included, from Greensboro, NC, to Chicago)
