I highly recommend the architecture tour. I went on it a couple years ago and it was just amazing—such a great way to see Chicago. Plus, you can walk about a half mile south on Michigan Ave. afterwards and have perhaps the world's best hamburger at The Gage.

For those sticking around in Chicago before/after the F2F (or for those who live here), 75 Reasons to Go to the Museum of Science and Industry (it's their 75th anniversary this year).
I hope they have improved their entry system. The last two times I tried to go we aborted because the line was insanely long.
