On the P-C Boston visit, as long as we're exploring options, I was thinking Tapeo might be good: [link]
If we were in Somerville, Dali would definitely have made my list (since Redbones is probably more mammalian than P-C would like), so why not the Newbury Street spinoff? It's not terribly far from Copley, either.
here for a picture "Belinda's" (Thing) cousin, "MugThing".
That is nowhere NEAR the creepiness of the original Thing.
I CAN HAZ HOTEL ROOM!
I just love the pre-F2F stuff that mean it's really, really coming 'round again. Voting (well, I always love voting), tickets, hotel rooms. Yay!

Because it is not possible.
At least the server didn't ask us if we wanted to insure it.
I eat bird and fish
But is there anything more...Bostonian? I like trying out regional foods when I travel. What's Boston famous for? Beans?
Nobody tell P-C's mom that he is going to Boston to get scrod.
Hmm, how about Les Zygomates for Boston get-together?

Sooo.... We don't care about budget anymore?
Shabu Zen looks good, cheap, AND they have a seafood hotpot (for that
Boston
angle).

Heh. I do, but I still get distracted by shiny delicious things. (My main thing was that I don't think that LS is *worth* the price. That may not have been clear. It was Monday!) Zygomates popped into my head when I was thinking about the neighborhood and I have fond memories so I absent-mindedly mentioned it without really thinking about price.
ANYWAY.
I think Shabu Zen would work out great.

Definitely something different for a group night out.
