Is the F2F website down or is the link in the heading wrong? I keep getting an error page.

I don't think Ginger's had a chance to get it back up, yet. I only sent her all the hotel info earlier this evening.

Ah! Sorry, I've been skimming (bad skimmer! no biscuit!) and didn't realize that it didn't already exist.

You can be forgiven for not skimming! That link is the same that was up there last year (and has never been removed), because it was Ginger's site for the Atlanta F2F. She's kindly offered to host this years site for me, since I am not very web development savvy (try, not at all.)

Devil's Lake State Park. See paths built by the CCC.

The Crane Foundation. Get courted by a whooping crane. (it happened to my dexh, it could happen to you)

Cave of the Mounds (their website seem top be down at the moment)

The wine lists say that other wines are available by request, so it may be possible with the beer, too? Can't hurt to ask.

Can I request New Glarus Ale and a cute bartender?

also, for the lazy/cougar crowd I recommend hanging out on the patio at the student center -- brats, cheese curds, beer, and boys doing things like kayaking and jogging.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, hah. So my plan was I'd rent a car to take the dog to my dad's before the F2F to stay for the weekend. But I'm out tonight and get a call on my cell phone:

"Yeah, can I make a reservation for the weekend of June 19 - 21?"

My dad. Who has some convention or something he wants to go to in Chicago that weekend.

I told him I'm away that weekend anyway, so he's "well, I can take care of the girl then."

Um, yeah, that was going to be the case either way. But this sure makes it easier.

Can I request New Glarus Ale and a cute bartender?

I'll second that.

And prolly that too.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Um, I might just offer to pay for this myself. Local brews, I expect?

Can I request New Glarus Ale and a cute bartender?

Yes, I'd also be happy to pitch in to get the reserve beers (both the Capitol Amber and the Spotted Cow look really nice). It would make me happy like WHOA.

I think we should wait to see what the overall costs are and whether others are willing to chip in for 1/2 barrels. If only 2 or 3 people are interested, I'd hate to see them spending all that money for the keg when they probably won't drink it all, or even half. This is the frugal Scot in me talking, because $300 for the keg and $80 for the bartender adds up. The beer drinking part, though, is saying "hells, yeah" I'll chip in for a keg!
