Come late if you have to, shrift! We can all be surly about the time change together. (And ready to choke a bitch if they don't bring me coffee in a timely fashion.)

I'm so chuffed I get to see people this visit. Usually, there's no time for anything outside of work obligations.

I have set my alarm for 8am! Now I just, um. Need to go to bed.

Ah. I got up at 8:00 and then went back to sleep until now. But I'll be there....

Am on 9 bus. Wheeee!

Crap! Forgot all about DST. Sorry guys, I think we're not going to make it. And I was looking forward to seeing Maria and the Kathys and everyone. Not to mention potato pancakes.

The potato pancakes were indeed awesome. shrift's cabbage soup looked yummy too. The blintzes were delish, and they kept the coffee cups full. It was a very nice Sunday morning, with fabulous conversation. I love how we can move from music to fandom to hockey without blinking an eye.

Kathy A is an awesome tour guide, and it was terrific to finally meet tommyrot and shrift. Though I'm sad I didn't get to see brenda (and meet her sister) again. Next time there will be more notice.

Thanks again for braving the cold weather and the time change to come out and hang for a bit. It was much fun.

Much fun was had (and the sour borscht was yummy, too)!! I'm trying to convince Maria to add a weekend day if she comes out here this summer (or at least when the weather's nice) so we can do an architectural boat tour on the river/lake. If we do, I hope some other Buffistas can join us!

Heck, even if MFN can't fit us in, maybe we should plan one, anyway. I'll have to see when would work for people and make sure we pick a good-weather day.
