Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

I am also unsure of what my Sunday will look like. I doubt I'll be able to make it out to the suburbs, but I could crawl out of bed for a few hours to join if y'all want to meet up a little closer to downtown.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Also, if anyone is free to babysit while we're at the ceremony, it would be AWESOMELY cool of you. He'll be 14 months at that point.

Buffista toddler party! Seriously. He and Matilda and Emmett (and if K-Bug wants to assist, that'd be awesome) can hang out here and stack things and knock them over and we can all go to the playground in Golden Gate Park and ride the carousel and visit the giant ferns and feed the ducks in the secret pond, and there will be pictures to ensure that all the other Buffistas die of teh cute.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

and there will be pictures to ensure that all the other Buffistas die of teh cute.

As long as they're revived in time for a Saturday brunch, I support this plan! (Unless it turns out that we aren't free for brunch - wedding plans are all at the "save the date" stage for now, so I don't know what other events the couple will have planned. Or they might want us all completely out of their hair once the reception ends!)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'd love to see Maria and folks on Sunday but I'll be in tech. My life is become tech.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

It's looking like brunch or lunch works best. I'm more than happy to head closer in to the city if it's more convenient for folks.

I can't remember--are you from Chicago originally, Maria? If not, you have been to the city before, right? 'Cause, if not, I must take you on a driving tour; I was told by my stepfather that I do them really well (I watch enough local history/tour shows on PBS to rattle off significant locations with relative accuracy).

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…
