He and Matilda and Emmett (and if K-Bug wants to assist, that'd be awesome) can hang out here and stack things and knock them over and we can all go to the playground in Golden Gate Park and ride the carousel and visit the giant ferns and feed the ducks in the secret pond, and there will be pictures to ensure that all the other Buffistas die of teh cute.

Seriously. And, Jess visit, squeeeeee!
I was told by my stepfather that I do them really well
I can vouch for this, at least in part. I was recounting your Streeterville tale just the other day. (Or at least the vague outlines that I could remember.)
Well, if a city event would be better for more people on Sunday, how about lunch on the North (ish) side? A few suggestions:
A new Persian place in Rogers Park called Masouleh (the link is to a review at Gaper's Block, which makes this place sound yummy!)
Hopleaf in Andersonville is considered one of the best bar-food restaurants in town, with an extensive beer list. Its speciality is Belgian food, but the beer is from all over from what I've read.
Podhalanka in Ukranian Village for Polish food.
Tre Kronor in Andersonville for Swedish brunch/lunch is supposed to be wonderful, although it doesn't have Ann Sather's cinnamon rolls.
And, if you're in the mood for BBQ, Honey 1 is said to be just about as good as Chicago BBQ gets (we're not really known for it here, though)
Thanks, Brenda!!

Ah, yes, Capt. and Ma Streeter, squatting on landfill on the front doorsteps of the rich and famous on the Gold Coast, fighting off the cops with a meat cleaver and a shotgun for decades until he finally got busted for selling liquor on a Sunday. Now, the most expensive property in the city!
Jess. I sure as hell hope that I am in town at that point. You're going to F2F, too, right??!!
Ooh, Polish sounds yummy (and not just because it's in my neighborhood). Any of them sound good though.

I've requested the days off, but it's going to depend on $$.
Hi. I'm going to be in SF roughly 4/3 to 4/10, and would like to see peoples. Thursday and Friday nights are spoken for, and by "spoken for" I mean I will be jumping up and down screaming lyrics like the 13 yo I am not-so-deep-down inside and, if I get the chance, showing Frank Iero photographic evidence that I dressed like him for Halloween.
This should possibly be arranged on the email list, so I guess I need on again. Maybe Sunday brunch? As always, I'm trying to see several different groups of people, so it may get tricky.
And now that I've made my announcement, I'll probably be without email from tomorrow night until 3/17. *g*
