Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Seriously, you're a professional cat herder of the highest caliber!

I'm glad to say, I will not have to work on this project alone. Cashmere has offered, and I've taken her up on it, to do a lot of the initial leg, or phone (as it may be), work over from me. So, once I've forwarded all the pertinent hotel info to her, she'll be doing most of the grunt work negotiating with them. I'll just be expert advice on locations and conditions of the hotels.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Go Kristin!

Also, the F2F will be occurring over the Summer Solstice. So... what's the appropriate pagan celebration? Naked Maypole dance?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Totally Naked F2F!

Isn't the proper term "skyclad"?

Umm... yes, it is.

I worked at a bakery cooperative in Madison. The outside of the building has a painting of naked skyclad people dancing in a circle. (The place was founded back in the Hippy Days.)

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Isn't the proper term "skyclad"?

That's just foofy code for "nekkid".

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So...that'd be a "no" on bringing the baby, then?

I just mean in conjuction with the solstice, "skyclad" sounds more properly pagan than "nekkid."

Unless you're a redneck pagan.
