That's a moment that makes me smile whenever I think of it.
F2F 4: Too Much Candy, Never Enough Mojitos.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
Me, too.
I've been thinking about how to set up this vote--maybe we should vote on our first and second choices and then have a run-off among the top three dates? Otherwise the vote will be hugely diluted because of the large number of possibilities.
Prefmmmmnnnfffvotmmmfff!
Sorry.
I remember her coloring at the SFF2F and her colorfull comment when a crayon rolled to the floor
Moments to make a father swell with fuckin' pride, I tell you.
And getting a typical Buffista response, we could see her thinking "hm ... that was a hit ... have to keep this for future use"
x-post with Press:
F2F Poll results as of this morning:

VOTE NOW here! The poll will stay open until Wednesday at 9PM EST.
Just a note on dates from me, even though I know people have lots of other considerations about them--part of the awesomeness that is the F2F in the Midwest this year for me is that I was planning on going to Kalamazoo again this year, and if they're not on the same weekend, I will be able to work it out (probably) to go to the F2F as well! And as I haven't been to a F2F since DC I would really love to. Kalamazoo is 5/8-11, and if it's the weekend before or after I will probably be able to find someplace to be for the intervening days and then do F2F.
So, um, think of me? If you want. It's just a long and expensive plane flight from Britain, and I haven't seen a lot of you in years! And I would like to.
Anyway. Back to your original voting.
Current F2F Voting Results:
Detroit, MI 10.7% 6
Houston, TX 8.9% 5
Madison, WI 39.3% 22
Minneapolis, MN 41.1% 23
56 total votes
Poll closes tonight at 9PM EST.
...I really hate to open a can of worms, but should we have a run-off vote between Minneapolis and Madison if the margin is only one vote? We should decide now what we want to do since I know that the votes may shift back and forth for the rest of the day.
If we end up with 2 cities getting a close-but-not-tied amount of votes, will we have a runoff vote? Because maybe the people who voted for Detroit or Houston feel strongly about Madison vs. Minneapolis.
(I didn't say "preferential," mind.)
Just curious.
